APA 7 reporting

APA 7 tables and results, without the reformatting

OrcStat formats output tables in APA 7 style and drafts the results section, with every number tied to the table it came from. Export to Word and keep editing.

How it works

From output to a results section in four steps

  1. Run the analysis

From a dialog, syntax or the AI orchestrator. Output tables appear in the Outputs view.

  2. Choose the APA 7 table look

Tables switch to APA 7 style: horizontal rules only, no vertical lines, a numbered "Table n" above an italic title, and Times New Roman in Word.

  3. Let the report writer draft the text

It writes the methods and results paragraphs, for example "F(3, 140) = 125.81, p < .001, η² = .73", with each number tied to the table it came from and checked against it.

  4. Export

Send the report to Word, or to PDF, PowerPoint, Excel, HTML, OpenDocument or Markdown. Charts export as PNG or SVG.

APA reporting questions

Does it follow APA 7th edition?

Yes. The APA 7 table look follows the 7th edition's table layout, and the drafted results use APA number formatting, such as no leading zero for statistics that can't exceed 1 (p = .03, r = .19).

Can I edit the tables in Word?

Yes. Word exports are real Word tables and text, not images, so you can edit them like the rest of your document.

Does the AI make up the numbers in the text?

No. The engine computes every statistic, and each number in the drafted text is checked against the output table before you see it.
